EAS is committed to the support of young scientists in progressing their careers. Our Young Investigator Fellowships initiative offers early-career scientists the opportunity to take part in the Congress, to sharpen their skills by presenting and answering questions on their own research, attending the scientific programme, and getting to know others in the field. Information about Fellowships can be found on the Society website.
EAS 2018 Lisbon welcomes abstract submissions from young scientists.
4. Be energized – interdisciplinary discussions and questions that lead to new ideas and collaborations
We firmly believe that the personal meeting – presenting and discussing one’s work with others, and sparking ideas from others’ work – is the key to progress in science. EAS Congress has a wide multi-disciplinary audience of both clinicians and basic researchers. What begins as scientific discussion may lead to new ideas and fruitful collaboration. So join the discussion, question and debate in the Science at a Glance and Poster sessions, and then relax and enjoy friendships old and new at the Welcome Reception and Networking Evening.
5. Be inspired – by the beautiful and historic city of Lisbon
